These movies have gotten away from the original focus- street racing. Now they are just a comic book action series. Unfortunately, this is what the general public wants. They are making a ton of money off on them.
I agree. These later F&F movies have stunts that are so fake and unrealistic its pitiful. I never watched any of the others movies start to finish. I've caught portions while surfing the channels and maybe watched up to 10 minutes but couldn't even say which one they were.
Never could stomach to watch just from the original preview of the first one and after that it's so much CGI. I know 3 people who went and seen x and 2 did not sit through the whole movie.
Total Hollywood and much higher budget than the first one which had horrible acting. Too many sequels but the later ones have more famous actors and a better variety of cars. I think they have already taken this movie to the limit and will wait until it comes on TV/cable for free. Unless the weather gets so hot that I need to be in an air conditioned building then that will be my meal ticket to stay cool.
