Hi, Just purchased a 2011 Challenger R/T, I usually buy older B body Mopars but could'nt pass this one up with only 6k miles on it. I look forward to sharing information with all the members here.
Congratulations on your R/T and welcome to the forum. Every Challenger owner should view these informative designer interviews. They really give you incredible insight into how the retro-styled Challenger evolved from the drawing board to reality. 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 1 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 2 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 3 - YouTube Designer Interview ; Segment 4 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Designer Interview; Segment 6 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Dodge Challenger: Exterior Styling - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 1 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 2 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 3 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 4 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 5 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 6 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 7 - YouTube
Those are my favorite original wheels (my original owner replaced them) though the rear width doesn't accommodate as wide a tire as some would like. Imagine how awesome the rear wheels would look if they'd designed our rear suspension capable of accommodating a significantly deeper wheel / tire and inset those 5 spokes to a greater degree than the fronts. To my knowledge no one has yet unfortunately managed a mod with our IRS set-up to accommodate this idea.
Sharp! Your cars color appears to be "Toxic Orange Pearlcoat" ?, I think that color is a very unusual color.
