What's stopping you Tom? If you haven't had that driving experience you'll be positively overwhelmed!

I wish I could. Have to make the wife happy. We are in the process of a $100,000 renovation of our 47 year-old house.

Just curious. Do you have any roads where you can open up your 550 hp Challenger? Even if I had a Hellcat, I couldn't really enjoy it. I can barely enjoy my 2009 SRT. That is because I live in New Jersey- the most densely populated state in the nation.

Also, since there are so many communities, there are police everywhere. For example, my home is located near the intersection of three towns and is closely patrolled by three different police departments!

Exactly, where are you going to use a Hellcat, besides the track. I would not want it to be sitting around if had one .

I guess if you have a lot of blow money it's ok ..

To a significant degree through 3 gears anyway. I'm fortunate to be located in a semi rural area with several fun roadway / highway choices. I don't miss the congestion / limitations you're describing. Have you had any tickets? Most recently just for chirping the tires into 2nd gear under moderate throttle in traffic in my BMW a cop pulled me over to warn me he could've charged me with 'stunting' which was definitely an excessive interpretation.

About two months ago, I nailed it getting on a very long entrance ramp to a 65 mph highway. I didn't notice that there was a black unmarked Ford SUV behind me. After I braked and entered the highway, the lights came on! Luckily, since I had no tickets on record, he gave me a warning and said that "he is just trying to keep everyone safe."

Another time, on the same road, I should have gotten a ticket. It was a Sunday and I was going to a car show. Since it was early morning and there were few cars on the road. Suddenly, a 1969 Camaro SS pulled up alongside of me wanting to race. At first, I declined but my pride got the better of me. We took off after 3 horn honks and a rolling start at 70 mph. He stayed with me for about 3-4 seconds but, by then, my 6.1 was like a runaway freight train. I didn't let up until he was a speck in my rearview mirror. Apparently, he gave up. Those classic muscle cars did not have the top speed of the modern HEMIs. (My 6.1 can hit 170 mph). When I let off, I was doing 140 mph! I guess it was my lucky day, because 2 miles up ahead was a NJ State trooper radar trap. I would probably still be in jail today! lol.

I agree with SRT-Tom, NJ is really heavily patrolled. I was traveling NJ Rt49 one night going East, speed limit is 50, it was dark, no cars in sight so I bumped the speed up to 58. Next thing I know there's a set of headlights on my rear. Fortunately there happened to be a car on the opposite berm that had pulled off the road with their 4ways on and the cop slowed and made a U-ie. For sure he was going to pull me over.
