I had a friend who took his drivers road test at 16 back in 1976 in a 62 hemi valiant coup he and his brother had built which was a novel experience for both he and the evaluator. I don't recall anyone in my circle in those days who didn't learn to drive with their parent(s). Today I've noted there are driving schools in my area called 'Easy Pass' and 'Quick Pass' which leaves me wondering!

Mine (had a manual 70 for a few months) must have been disconnected or I might have remembered / known what that was for. If I'd had that feature in my manual 69 Dart I might not have backed into the guy behind me at a red light on a very steep hill the first day I owned it (was in reverse thinking I was in 1st). The manual Nissan I had displayed the gear engaged on a dash display which I liked and wish my BMW had.

Any news or updates when you might get your car back? Maybe it's too soon to ask.
