I was at a C and C and I was noting details on some of the nicer cars, its all about the details right? On the old 60s ford fair-lanes they have intake tubes that go from the air cleaner to the inside headlights, the lights were removed, so it’s basically a ram air duct set-up. So skip forward challenger has the same type of thing. Anyway the Fords had a wire screen/cage over the inlets so nothing bigger blows in, remind me to tell you bout the bird, dead, I found in my grill.
I thought it was a cool little detail so I started lookin round, turns out theres all kind of stuff, plugs that look like the grill, screens, you could make some, or get these, there are variations of these as well. I have a set coming and will post pics when Im done. The actually offer Dodge colors, they’re anodized. Anyway another interesting detail. Oh we won’t vote on this..... Late

I have Fasty's garage lighted inlet tube. Subtle but intriguing.
