Here is a DIY video on how to install the Hellcat headlight airbox intake on a 2019 Scat Pack.

Not sure what you saw..I’m on my second coffee and all looks good to me. Other than I think he should keep his hat on...or maybe I’m just jealous being follicley challenged. ;)

Ive been on the fence as to wether or not change my intake to an aftermarket CAI. I feel the Hellcat intake is very efficient at keeping engine bay heated air out and pulling exterior cool air in. I dont understand why this intake wasn’t factory on all Challengers. I see the only benefit to change is the increased supercharger sound ...which always brings a smile to my face.....I may just go to a different filter media then stock. I have read good things about the green filters.

Found a K&N replacement filter on sale so I ordered one to give it a try. We’ll see if there’s a noticeable difference.

You will notice more intake sound but no real performance gains.

GEEEZ....I was hoping for a Demon like performance improvement.....;)
I wasn’t expecting much for performance....was hoping to hear more supercharger though. Ive got today off so maybe I can get out for a little rip up the highway.:driver:

Agree with Tom. No performance gain, but you WILL have increased intake noise and dirt ingestion. As far as blower whine, I've never noticed a difference after a CAI install.

I didn’t put on a CAI, I just replaced the stock filter with a K&N replacement filter in the stock housing.
It has made a slight increase in intake sound but nothing too radical.
