Thinking about switching to a Hellcat airbox and K&N high flow air filter. Just wondered if anyone else had done this and how it worked for you?

I haven't done this mod but, if you do, I would suggest an AEM dryflow (washable) filter. This is the same filter used in the MOPAR CAIs. The K & N filters have to be re-oiled.

Here is an install video and a link to AEM's web site.

Thanks Tom. I was just reading on another forum guys suggesting using the AEM instead of the K&N due to eventual oil buildup in the intake and sensors over time. Appreciate all the help!

I installed the Hellcat air box and AEM filter on my 14 V6. At the time I did not know that I would not be able to attach to the headlight location. I have HID headlights so part of it blocks the other light location where the airbox should extend to.

Part of your HID light does? I looked at mine the other day and it may be decieving but it looked like I had enough room. Unless maybe they changed the layout for 15.

Yes the 15 is different but I found that out after I bought the box.
