Not impressed he can talk all the crap he wants but it's a stinking electric - four cylinder plug in! Where's the impressive sound of the exhaust he was talking about I didn't hear anything, don't care what Dodge or any other automaker says EV'S are not efficient or clean for the environment. I've been a Mopar guy all my life with the saying Mopar or no car but now I'll just have to say NO CAR!
The Hornet failed a diagonal slip test. The slip test aims to test a vehicle’s ability to handle loss-of-traction situations and how it shuffles power around to gain traction. As the Hornet had three of its wheels on the rollers, making the Hornet send traction to the wheel that wasn’t, the Hornet suddenly threw a number of warning lights and messages and disabled the AWD system to save it from any mechanical damage. The testers tried to shut the vehicle off and open the door to see if the vehicle would restart and reset, to no avail. After that, they disconnected the battery, but it continued throwing lights and messages. They then decided to see if driving the car a short distance to see if the computer would default, and some of the lights eventually turned off. Here is Dodge's response to the failed test: “We are aware of this issue in our pre-production vehicles, which is strictly an electronic issue and requires a quick reflash which does not affect drivability." https://moparinsiders.com/dodge-hornet-gt-awd-fails-tflcars-diagonal-slip-test/
