This is one of the worst car crashes that I have seen. It happened in Memphis. Two cars were street racing. It was reported that rapper Baby K was the Hellcat driver. At over 130 mph, his Hellcat ran a red light and hit a box truck. Both were ejected (no seat belts) and died. Not much was left of the Challenger. You can see the supercharged 6.2 engine on the lower right of the photo.
The Hellcat is just one of many cars that due to it's extremely high power output, ends up getting totaled prematurely and in unusually high numbers. The big issue is how many innocent people get hurt or killed when these morons are losing control of their cars on public roads?
You'd like to think that with age comes wisdom but it's more likely a healthy respect for your mortality.
