The Hurricane appears to be built strong (forged internals accommodating it's 26 lbs of boost). It's been available in the Jeep Wagoneer since 2023. And just one plug per cylinder!

Stellantis probably built that motor as they could install it in any or almost any vehicle. Tweak the PCM to adjust the horsepower & torque were they want it. Though I never had a motor with a turbo in it, so not sure the cost to replace them.

The labor hours alone to re and re twin turbos on a 2007 335 is between 13 and 20. A friend had a turbo failure post warranty on a Tiguan which cost him 5k. Would Dodge's 5 yr 50k powertrain warranty cover the turbo's?

I watched it, according to Racer X, it blows the 5.7 away with no problem. Like Tom said, skip the first 10 minutes of him bloviating about himself. But the jury is out on how good that engine is, besides the turbos. I have have owned at least a dozen vehicles with Turbos, not something I lose sleep over. Right now I have 3 that each have 2 turbos, and one with a single turbo. Turbos are as good as the operator, and the frequency of oil changes.
