Dream Customs India built a 1969 Ford Mustang replica, in only 7 days, using a 2009 Accent. Mustang purists must be having a bird. Talk about a kit car! Glad these guys didn't get the idea to build a Challenger!

The exterior is not bad, except for the horrible front grill. The interior leaves a lot to be desired. The “double hoop” dashboard design and seating upholstery are reminiscent of the 1969 Mustang, sure, but the steering wheel, center stack, console and more all scream Accent.

What about the engine? Well, as expected, Dream Customs India did not stuff a big Ford V8 engine under the hood, let alone try to switch power delivery from the front wheels to the rear wheels. Instead, they kept the Accent's tiny 1.6-liter in-line four-cylinder engine (110 hp. and 106 lb/ft of torque). The conversion required four months of work, and Indian customers can purchase a copy.

They are very proud of their creation. Anyone want to put in an order for one?

Check out the location of the exterior door handles, the ridiculous side mirrors and the horrible interior.

Do you know what is scary? India is where most of our prescription drugs come from.
