LOL good thing for the Fueler that it was only a 1/8th mile race. It did not stand a chance in a 1/4 mile. The speed of the jet at the end of the race was around 35mph higher than the Fuel dragster! It would be nice if supplemental jet engines of a more modest size could be included in one's hot rod build, as the jets add more power at high speed than they do at low speed. If NACA ducts were used to feed them, their drag in normal operation would be negligible, too. Sounds like some Fast and Furious potential action!
