Would MDS (molybdenum disulfide) be a good hinge grease? It is famed for its extreme pressure resistance, which is is why it is used on cam lobes during break in installation.
Molybdenum-based grease is also a waterproof lubricant that resists wear and tear. It would be a good choice to lubricate door hinges. because it doesn’t corrode like lithium-based grease. The down-side is that it is two or three times more expensive than white lithium grease.
