I read in Motor Trend that the 2019 Mustang Shelby GT350 comes with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for better grip. (Previous models had the Michelin Pilot Sport).

These tires are super expensive and only last between 12,000-15,000 miles on the street.

Check out these prices, per tire:

    245/35/ZR20= $406.99
    305/30/ZR20= $530.99
    323/25/ZR20= $554.99

Ouch, definitely need to keep the rubber on the tire for those prices. They must be extremely soft to wear that quick.

These tires are made specifically for a road race track. Also, they can only be used on dry track surfaces.

Most people who buy those don't drive will trade them before 10k miles.
Or just drive them on the weekends.

I wonder why they are going so short? Did they change the rearend ratio?
    O, it's a Mustang

I paid $1100.00 for 2 Nitto Invo 275/40/20 and 2 315/35/20. They have a 260 wear rating, so I may get something a little tougher next time.

260 wear rating. Not gonna last too long if you like doing burn outs.
