A drag race between a Mini-Cooper and a Charger Hellcat seems laughable. But this video teaches two lessons about power-to-weight and traction. In the first drag race a 500 hp. Mini-Cooper easily beats a 1,000 hp. Charger Hellcat. The much lighter car clearly outperforms the heavier Charger that also had traction problems. In the bonus race, however, the Charger takes on passengers to improve its rear traction and actually wins.
