I was digging through some old photos and I found one of my 1971 'Cuda 340 after I had installed the backlight louvers and rare front spoilers.

    Welcome to Challengerforum.

Nice Challenger but you shouldn't be trying to pass your Challenger off as an SRT.

The 7.5-inch wheels, tires, brake calipers, absence of 392 fender emblems, and front spoiler are dead give-aways.

So many badges, what is the difference? I have the RT, what makes the SRT that much different?

There is a lot of difference between an SRT and the R/T- Dodge's entry level performance car. It's like comparing a Road Runner to a GTX.

Dodge’s SRT models are in a league of their own. SRT stands for Street and Racing Technology, a brand synonymous with extreme performance and power. These cars take the foundation laid by R/T models and push it much further.

SRT cars have beefed-up engines, advanced suspension systems, exclusive aerodynamic designs, Brembo braking systems, custom wheels, race-inspired leather seats, high-tech gauges, LED or HID headlights. etc.

So basically a little better brakes and suspension and more power. Those adaptive damping shocks will cost big bucks to replace.. These cars are still big heavy vehicles they are made to go in a straight line only.
