Hello! I am Joe Maddox from Oregon. I drive a 09 6speed SRT8 and joined to share a few pics, meet some people with some challengers and learn a bit more about the cars. Here are a few pics of the car after I got it.
Welcome to the forum and great photos of your 2009 SRT. I have a 2009 Hemi-orange SRT, too. Check out the informative interviews of the designers of the 2006 Challenger concept and the 2008 production car. They really give you incredible insight into how the retro-styled Challenger evolved from the drawing board to reality. 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 1 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 2 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 3 - YouTube Designer Interview ; Segment 4 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Designer Interview; Segment 6 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Dodge Challenger: Exterior Styling - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 1 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 2 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 3 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 4 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 5 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 6 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 7 - YouTube
That's a beautiful color. Is it the same as "Go Mango" color? Is it a high maintenance color like black that shows off swirls and paint blemishes easily?
No, the Hemi-Orange Pearl high impact color (with mica chips) is more vibrant than Go Mango. It was the same color that was on the 2006 concept car. Unlike black, it is not hard to maintain.
