New to me 2012 SRT8. Believe it or not it has 2014 tires on it, according to the date stamp. Goodyear Eagle RS.A. 45,000 km (38,000 miles). Lots of tread and no cracks but obviously I need to change them. The car is not a daily and won't get a lot of miles so I'm thinking a softer stickier tire won't be a disadvantage, without worry of premature wear. It's the original 9" rims. Thinking I might go up to a 275 on the rear.

I have Cooper 245/45-20s on the front and 275/40-20s on the rear of my 2009 SRT and really like the staggered look and increased traction.

The best recommendations for ultra-high performance all-season tires is Tire Rack. It performs comprehensive and objective testing. You should have confidence in its ratings.

Its highest rated tire is the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3.

Hi there, I am a tire dealer that sells all major brands of good year, which owns cooper and kelly and dunlop and others , f/stones Michelin , which owns BFG , Uniroyal and all these brands have replacement tires of less grade, it really depends on what your budget is, I personally run on my drivers Michelin , and BFG, goodyear and they have a brand new tire out that's super sticky tire its not a high mileage tire being sticky as you know .this BFG is called g-Force Phenom T/A . BFgoodrich invited tire dealers to the track and drive and test these tires and other brands as well. the major brand OE tire's run a little wider than the replacement tires like Kelly, cooper, and other replacement "cheaper tires" will not handle as well as the major brand tires but the replacement tires are priced a lot cheaper though . the pic as you can tell is a "summer tire only" I run only summer tires on my challenger . And understand i sell them all and sold all of these major brands for over 40 plus years and in no way plugging any of these manufactures , this is my opinion only. that's why i sell different brands to meet the customer demands , I make the same mark up on a cheap tire as i do a major brand tire, so it does not bother me to sell what a customer want's . I would go with a summer tire other than a A/S if you are using the car for only the summer . upload_2025-10-1_17-55-24.png

Thanks guys. I'm in no hurry. I'll put it away for the winter in a month. I'll have all winter to find something. The one challenge I've found so far is finding the same brand/model in the two different sizes.

tom if you are into copper this is there newest cobra that is replacing the zeon like your car has on it ," the Cooper cobra instinct ", that's a great improvement over the old zeon its built, based on the old Goodyear eagle gt carcus which Goodyear still uses.
