Dodge has just released a teaser video entitled, "Something Big Is Coming." The rumor is that it is the new 426 Hemi with 525 hp and 525 lb/ft torque!

The major clue in the video is the elephant (426 knickname) footprints over the Hellcat footprints.

One interesting thing is the old style door handles on the car.

All will be revealed on October 30 at SEMA.

Also, watch the beginning of this video from April.

Usually don't like "This Type" of YouTube interviews,
But he actually covers it pretty well.

If I had to guess, I would bet that Dodge will be producing two versions of the 426- a supercharged one producing over 707 hp and a naturally aspirated version, making 525-550 hp that will eventually replace the 392. This will create new excitement for the Challenger and keep sales pumped up.

Today, at 4:26 AM, Dodge unveiled the new 426 at SEMA. It is a supercharged crate engine making 1,000 hp and 950 lb/ft. Wow!!!!!!

Also, equally exciting, Dodge unveiled a fantastic Charger concept based on the 1968 Charger! Dodge finally got the styling right. I can see this car going into production, just like the 2006 Challenger concept, and being a big seller.

Dodge has hit two home runs! Bring on the Fords and Chevys.

Here are the links to the livestream broadcast (start at the 3 minute mark) and press release.
