Now THAT'S a beautiful 'Cuda. Are those Cragars or American Racing wheels? Back in the late '70s I had a lot of lust for a set of Cragars - or Keystones - when I had my '68 Charger R/T. But my part-time job budget would only afford a set of ETs. Where are you in East Central Illinois? I've lived in Florida most of my life, but my Mom's family is from the Hoopeston, IL area. I was just up there in June.

Wasn't Cragars the only wheel made in the 70's ? I live in Charleston. Home of Eastern Illinois University. If you have heard of Tony Romo(Cowboys) or Jimmy Garoppolo(49ers) its where they played QB at.
All new members should view these fascinating video interviews of the designers of the 2006 Challenger concept car and the 2008 production car. You will really learn a lot. Designer Interviews | Dodge Challenger Forum
I still like the look of chrome (or polished) wheels on muscle cars. I had a 2011 Challenger R/T Classic that had polished aluminum wheels that were pretty similar to the American Racing mags from "back in the day." That car - and those wheels - got a lot of compliments. It's always cool when a player from a smaller school makes it big! I'd bet neither of those guys has to pay for a beer when they come back to visit.
Romo came back one time and went to all of the places he used to go to. He did it with an entourage and had an attitude. Pretty much pissed off everyone. Jimmy G acts like just another guy.
I can see Romo being like that. I was Blessed to spend a dozen seasons working in sports. You could tell real quick which guys were "real" and which guys were "fake." You could also tell pretty quick which guys were going to be set for life and which guys were going to be broke 3 months after their final game. Nearly always the same guys.
