Hello, so im in the market for a challenger so joined up here. Will probably be buying one here in the next week as we found a gt awd but just holding out incase a deal on a v8 pops up. I sure like my hemi's haha. Ill post pictures of whatever we end up getting
If it rains where you are a lot, AWD can be fun at stoplights. I blow people away with my 4WD truck in the rain. If you spend the time and effort, you can get a forced-induction AWD Challenger that is inexpensively right near Hellcat power levels, and expensively, but nowhere near Hellcat price, well beyond them.
Welcome to the forum and good luck with your search. I suggest that you view these informative designer interviews. They really give you incredible insight into how the retro-styled Challenger evolved from the drawing board to reality. 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 1 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 2 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 3 - YouTube Designer Interview ; Segment 4 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Designer Interview; Segment 6 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Dodge Challenger: Exterior Styling - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 1 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 2 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 3 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 4 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 5 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 6 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 7 - YouTube
I also encouraged Mopar, in the letter to their president, to aggressively pursue the aftermarket via Direct Connection to SELL us the stuff we can use to upgrade lower-tier cars to being monsters. As I do not tire of stating this letter, too, was read then returned to me stamped to that effect. I believe Chrysler is shifting closer to 1960 and Charles Bronson, and not 2022 Dylan Mulvaney behavior.
You can buy R/T's - SRT's you'd likely find desirable from $20k -30k cdn in the greater Vancouver market (endless Challenger V8's for sale here).
I hear you on that front, you would think Direct Connection would throw us V6 guys a bone. Give us some engine modifications that could add 50 - 100 HP & TQ.
