Hello All, Long time lurker but new member. Just got bought a 2021 Challenger... Looking forward to reading more posts and continuing to learn about this amazing vehicle
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Scat Pack. You will find this site very informative and a lot of fun. To get a real appreciation for the Challenger, I would highly recommend that you read all of the informative interviews of the designers of the 2006 Challenger concept and the 2008 production car. They really give you incredible insight into how the retro-styled Challenger evolved from the drawing board to reality. Also, check out our Articles and Owners' Gallery forums. 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 1 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 2 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 3 - YouTube Designer Interview ; Segment 4 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Designer Interview; Segment 6 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Dodge Challenger: Exterior Styling - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 1 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 2 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 3 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 4 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 5 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 6 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 7 - YouTube
What do you want to do with it? First things first: These things need more traction. You can get reproductions wheels for cheap that are 10.5-11" wide and look like the factory ones you have, and put some 305-315 sized tires on them. Note: this is NOT the factory ones for the widebody, though they use the same-size tires. Also, never buy Pirelli tires. They evidently have a feud with Stellantis and produce lousy tires for Stellantis vehicles' sizes, both the Maserati Granturismo and the Dodge Challenger and Charger.
Actually I just want to enjoy it for a bit before I do anything to it. Once I drive it for a bit I figure I can personalize it based on feel, aesthetics, etc...
