Thanks for having me, 1st time owner. My name is Landon and we live in Mason, Ohio. I've wanted 1 since I was a kid and for my 59th birthday, on my 59th birthday (9/28), I bought one, when the opportunity arose. Bought a very basic, destroyer grey, 2018 SXT w/53k miles. I've driven a 13 Durango Citadel for 7 years,, so I got used to all the bells and whistles. Going to have to get used to what I don't have anymore, like backup sensors, heated steering wheel, heated seats, AWD, etc etc etc. I got spoiled I think. Anyway this is going to be my daily driver and I'm falling in love with it. Going to do little things to make it mine. Looking forward to seeing others here and learning.
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Challenger SXT. Check out the informative interviews of the designers of the 2006 Challenger concept and the 2008 production car. They really give you incredible insight into how the retro-styled Challenger evolved from the drawing board to reality. 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 1 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 2 - YouTube 2008 Challenger Designer Interview -- Segment 3 - YouTube Designer Interview ; Segment 4 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Designer Interview; Segment 6 - 2009 Challenger - YouTube Dodge Challenger: Exterior Styling - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 1 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 2 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 3 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 4 - YouTube Challenger Designers Castiglione and Barrington Pt. 5 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 6 - YouTube Challenger Designers - Castiglione and Barrington, Part 7 - YouTube
That "ticket the other guy, not me" gray is a choice some Lamborghini owners have made for the reason stated in the quotes. I drove a Honda CRV like a madman for years. It was black and dented. It was almost completely invisible, especially to women, evidently. Never got a single ticket.
