Hello, does anyone know where I could get painted roof trim/molding for my 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker? I purchased the trim from our Dodge dealership's parts department because the guy said it was black, but it was unpainted and a tan color, so I gave the trim back. The trim I have currently has cracked clear coat all the way down both pieces (it happened basically overnight) and looks like crap, so I really want to replace it without having to send it to be painted. thanks!

You may have no choice about painting. I believe that all replacement roof drip moldings now are unpainted. I would just have a good body shop paint your damaged ones.

A cheap option (not recommended), would be to install "carbon fiber" or chrome moldings from E-Bay.

Thanks SRT-Tom! Why are the carbon fiber moldings not recommended? I would assume because they are not actually carbon fiber? Do they make actual carbon fiber moldings?

Why not try spray painting the roof rails yourself. I have had great success with the AutomotiveTouchup brand. Just buy the exact color and a can of clearcoat. If you are not satisfied with the results, you could always take your Challenger to a good body shop for re-painting.
