I have a 2009 SRT and worry about the availability of parts. Daimler-related parts (wiring architecture, infotainment systems, modules, sensors, etc.) disappeared after 2014, for 2008-2014 Challengers. Dealers stopped supporting them years ago and the aftermarket doesn't make much. In addition, Stellantis continues to discontinue parts more and more each month. Keeping my car running long term may be a challenge and may turn into a salvage yard hunt. Does anyone else have this concern?
In a word, No. As long as there are plenty of these cars on the road, some company will make replacement parts for them. Dorman makes boatloads of parts already, and that’s just one example. Bosch supplies many of the electrical bits & bobs and those are common across many different makes and models. So, no, I think we’ll be able to find parts for many years. If you don’t believe me, do an online search for parts for a 1970 Chevelle!
