Those of you who drive your Challengers all winter in ice and snow, it is advisable to check your engine cradle bolts. After many years of this type of driving, they can actually rust and break off. This problem is most likely caused by the failure of the adhesive of a black rubber cover over the hole in the frame. It is used to block water and debris from getting into the frame through this hole. Once the rubber adhesive peels away, the patch creates a funnel for water to enter the frame rail and it then gets dumped directly onto the bolts.
