Some more drag race videos with a trans brake "fail", for good measure!

Spent the whole time, with the exception of one run, practicing the trans brake feature on the 1320. 4 out of 5 attempts were unsuccessful to varying degrees, due mostly to user error and screwing up the required sequence. 1 attempt was a reasonable success. All in all, a very fun day and good practice, even though practicing on trans brake did not net me my best times. My dad even decided to bring his '08 LS3 Vette and drag race for the first time ever, so we got a few father/son grudge matches in there, which was really great! Enjoy!

Not my best on this one, lowest was a 12.25 @ 112 mph, on the singular run without using the trans brake. My best so far was an 11.974, also not using the trans brake. I know I can improve on it. Hopefully, I can get the sequence right with a little more practice and get closer towards the 11.5 range. Dodge claims 11.77, people are regularly getting more close to 11.6 - 11.7 consistently.

Nice. The track here isn't doing 1/4 mile runs because something broke with their lights or timing system. I'm trying to get on a list comprised of the top 100 Pentastar engines in the 1/4 mile. I bought a Dragy to time but they only take official track slips. I'd have to drive 2 hours and 35 minutes to the next closest track and it didn't seem worth it. I've done 12.6 on the Dragy twice in my supercharged V6 SXT Plus, and that's with a subwoofer box in the trunk, a full tank of gas and 315/35/20s in back. I think I could improve on it, but I'm not sure I want to. I like the look of my car and care more about that than my time. :)
