    2021 329 Scat Pack...

It has a hose coming out of the air intake box that has an AC on it. Is that a "sound tube"?

And ... if anyone ever adds oil too quickly during an oil change, it can backup and flow through the PCV hose and flood your air filter.

WTF... I am asking a serious question.

Forget it, I will trace the tube myself tomorrow.

Apologies, I thought you where being a smart ass. The PCV system is on the other side of the engine. Unless this is somehow connected to it and I have never in my life heard of the tube getting filled with oil during the fill, on any car.

I am still learning the ins and outs of the new car. My last "performance" Mopar was my 2000 Dakota R/T

Maybe some sites would mess with you ... but you got real answers to your questions.

My apology for mistakingly referring to the Crankcase Ventilation Hose as a PCV hose. Sorry about that ... I was in a hurry to walk the dog. Or rather, he was in a hurry to be walked.

Check out this YouTube video. It's a 2009 Challenger, but the design hasn't changed. Yes! Adding oil too quickly can result in oil ending up in your air filter through the hose you've asked about.

Nope. Just the Crankcase Ventilation Hose.
