TV advertising in Canada claims the 'Dodge Daytona is the world's quickest & most powerful muscle car' which from my perspective is incorrect. Is there a logical way the powers that be could be justifying this claim in their minds?
The next-generation Dodge Charger electrifies a legend — the Charger will retain its title as the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car, led by the all-new, all-electric 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack, which delivers 670 horsepower, is expected to reach 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and will run the quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds. Electrified models also include the 496-horsepower 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T. Google it....
Purists will say that the Daytona is not a muscle car because it is electric. However, based on its acceleration times (0-60 mph and 1/4 mile) it qualifies.
