Tim Kuniskis explains while Dodge didn't go to Alfa Romeo's Georgio platform in 2013 and why it now went to all electric vehicles.

    No, he's just a very well-paid shill for Dodge/Stellantis.

It's cool to look back and watch the exciting debut of a real muscle car- the 2006 Challenger concept.

Start watching the following video at the 14.23 minute mark. Totally, awesome. The Mopar community was waiting for this moment!

He's a CEO that answers to a board. I am pretty sure when he goes into board meeting he has to answer some tough questions. The board only cares about 1 thing the dough!!
Hey look @ it this way, at least we did get some muscle back..

I will not dispute the potential performance of an EV, but I do question the environmental benefits of any EV. The production of all the metals needed in an EV compared to ICE vehicles. Mining metals for 1 ton of LI-ion Batteries requires earth movement of between 700,000 to 1.2 million tons. Multiply that be the number of EV's to be produced and you have a massive impact on the environment. Secondly is the issue of power from the grid needed to recharge the exploding population of EV's. There simply isn't enough renewable power to provide the energy required to keep an EV charged. So we have to use fossil energy for that, and an EV using fossil energy for power is no better than or probably worse than an ICE in terms of GHG emissions which is what the environmentalists claim they want to reduce by switching to EV's. With only 25% on-stream factor, solar is incapable of meeting the demand requirements for EV's. Same with wind. And when the wind and solar power supplies fail to produce needed energy, the grid will suffer or even collapse. Already communities are asking neighbors to not use appliances so that they can charge their cars. What a concept.
Research this issue further and in great depth to understand the great number of issues involved with the transition to EV's. I cannot justify the effort in terms of environmental benefits or benefits to society in general.

A real man needs to buy Dodge from Thetallantith. Stellantis has turned into the foppish French goof from Talladega Nights.
