I am looking at a 1 owner Challenger. Although the TOYOTA dealer says there is no problem transferring the remainder of the factory warranty to me....

    1. Have you had any problems with this?
      1. Is there a fee to do this?
      2. How do I know for sure(outside of going in for warrant work) that I do indeed have the Challenger covered?
    Thanks.

I took mine in and they did some work on it, but it was free, on warranty, so I think the warranty follows the car around. You may be able to get an extended warranty at Dodge. Talk to them about it. They offered me one when I brought my second (or whatever) hand Challenger in.

If the person you are buying form is the original owner, you should be able to.

If it is an extended mopar max care warranty, the fee is 50 bucks.

I had it transferred to me on my car.

Thanks for the information. Really wondered if it was as easy as what the dealer is telling me.

I would hate paying $40k+ for a used car, blow up the motor and have the dealer tell me to pound sand.
