Hi, my Challenger hit 160, 000 Km's (Canada), and I'm looking to get the Transmission oil changed.
Has anyone here done there's yet ?
    Thanks.

I dropped the pan and replaced the filter on mine at 80,000 miles. I did not know the history of my car, and I have a weird shifting issue which did not go away. It was not a complete fluid change due the torque converter.

My weird issue is that it shifts fine when cold and when hot. Shortly after I start driving while it is warming up it shifts from 1st to 2nd and does not want to shift to the higher gears and stays in 2nd. I can manually shift gears just fine. After it completely warms up, it works great.

Yes @ 30K about 6.5 quarts a couple years back. From what I understand on the ZF automatic transmissions you should have the adaptive values for the clutches reset , I believe you would need a decent scan tool that could talk to the TCM and perform resets.

That being said I never reset anything, just the correct fluid and OEM filter/pan.

On another note anyone who has a ZF850RE transmission in a 2020-2023

Their is a TSB for clutch D pack, it fails/slips / pops out of reverse. One way to find out if you have a issue is place the vehicle in reverse and backup a hill and give a little throttle. If your clutch is starting to fail you will feel it noticably

If you are under warranty they will/should give you a remanufactured transmission installed .

This is the best service video I've found for mine (Nag1). May apply to your 2013. It's a bit of an ambitious undertaking but we've learned your up for a challenge. Hope you can resolve it w/out having to go back in, but not sure how likely that might be.

I have pulled a few Sprinter valve bodies, and just cleaning the metal filings off the solenoids took away all the problems. If it has that same round connector that Benz uses, or any connector, be sure to remove it before you pull the valve body. I wonder if it has the torque converter drain plug like the Sprinter?

Really not that hard or a job to do for anyone with mechanical skills.
