Well crap, Hurst Shifter broke

    Pulled out of the garage yesterday morning, put it in neutral to let it warm up,

    and the shifter just pulls apart?????
    Try to push it back over the stud and quickly realize the main BOLT Sheared off!

    Finally got ahold of Hurst (now Holley) and showed them these pics.
    They said send it in and they would replace it.

    Good News, I get to ride my Bike into Work,
    Bad News, it's supposed to rain.

    Wow! I'm glad to hear that Hurst/Holley is standing behind their product. That says a lot considering the company has changed ownership. Impressive.

    I guess you can slide the stock shifter in until they get the new one to you. Still ... that's a pain to have to do the shifter change more than necessary.

    Reinstalled original shifter.
    Wow,
    Now I remember why I went with the Hurst Short Throw

    And I really miss the Old School pistol grip.

    Hopefully the replacement will come back quickly.

    Better stop doing those aggressive power shifts! If the next thing that happens is you shearing off the third pedal, you know YOU have a problem. LOL

    WOW !
    Mailed the broke Shifter to Holley/Hurst on Friday, they received it this morning (Monday)
    and are Shipping me a New-in-box replacement today :)

    That's Customer Service!

    Oh no!!

    If you had known that, would you have offered to cover the difference in cost to ship it via a faster method? (I would.)
