I was planning on putting her up for the winter today. Next thing I know it's snowing out, so I took it out of my house garage at 7 AM before the plow came, because I need to get on the road to go to my shop driveway. I had to do it urgently before they salted the road. Now on to my winter project. clean the oxide off the engine. Remove wheels, clean, wax, and rotate. Get a swirl scratch kit to remove what looks like brush car wash scratches. Give her a good coat of wax, and clean the interior. Oil change in the spring after her first ride.
Since she's stored for the winter (for the most part). I was in the garage admiring the Plum Crazy and started drooling. I had to wipe that off!
LOL, I went down to turn off the heat in my shop one night, and my wife asked where did you go. I said I went to turn off the heat, and ended up admiring my car like most other people do out in public. She hates all the attention I get with it, while she's lucky to get a glimpse and comment on her Rav4. Anyways, I was going to chemical clean the oxide on the engine, and took a look at the wiring, sensors, alternator etc. and decided elbow grease with a little wire brush, and a scotch brite pad would be better. Still kind of busy with work, maybe I can get on it in January.
