Why do people make nice looking cars, and trucks look stupid?

This is a picture manipulation. A wheel beyond 22" has clearance issues within the wheel well even with ride height adjustment. I run a 22" and only have 3" ground clearance at the header collector.

Or, they really cut up the fenders, bumpers and quarter panel to make them fit.

I considered that but proportionally there's nothing missing from the car body.

The centers of the wheels are even with the very bottom of the car. If this truly is a real picture, they must have had to drop the front spindles and rear axle 6 inches or more. I wonder how you can do that and still get decent wheel alignment.

I see something below the front facia, that we don't have on our cars. Maybe they put in an entirely different front suspension, or moded what was there?
