Or which options to avoid to get the smoothest comfortable ride?

I would say the Challenger SXT. Stay away from the Super Track Pack option. That really firms up the suspension to improve the handling.

Is that that big of a difference that you can feel when hitting a bump?

What about the adpative suspension on the SRT or SRT Hell cat. When I test drove an SRT (now new model) the suspension seemed to be fine.
But the SXT has advantages over the other models of R/T, SRT and Hellcat? Which would be namely gas mileage or lower operating costs? More reliable. Anything I missed?

This is true I test drove an SXT with performance suspension and the ride was terrible. It was worse than the R/T Challenger.

Best answer is drive it before you buy it. I had a SRT that the ride was rough or very stiff. I sold the SRT and bought a new 2014 Shaker RT #809 and the ride and comfort is the very best I've been it. Loss some HP but love my RT ride and comfort. It's fast enough for me.

But if you order from the factory you don't have that option. You must know what options to order. What was the equipment/suspension options on your SRT vs. current R/T? There must be a difference in your suspension in R/T and SRT that you used to have or diffferences in tires??
