Would you buy a 2024 all-electric Challenger if the price was under $70K and it produced around 886 hp?

Nope, wouldn't even buy one for $20,000. Not interested at all. I own a Challenger for it's gas powered Hemi and it's superb exhaust note,. I am almost re-living my younger years when I owned a '74 'Cuda. All the feelings are back. An electric Challenger would make me :bawl:

^^^ Kind of cool but it's still fake noise. That makes it rather embarrassing IMO.
No electric Challenger will give you this real 'rush', and this is nothing.
Just an example of many. The second one in Germany is better.

I wouldn't. My Challenger is a daily driver. It just wouldn't be the same. There's no real benefit to having 1,000hp and instant torque on a city or suburban street. You would just be going "zip, zip" from traffic light to traffic light and don't get me started on the fake zoom zoom. :)

IF ... the range is in the vicinity of 400 - 500 miles. I'll consider it.

It's the way the automotive world is headed. (Key word there is "world.") And just because I prefer the sound and feel of a rumbly V8 isn't going to change anything.

But probably not the first year. The first cowboys into battle get the arrows.
