No rinse, no hoses, just start at the top and work your way around, drying as you go. I bought this at the car parts store, Optimus is available online. Both work very well. As you can see, very little water around the car. You could do this in the garage even (if you are lucky enough to have one).
Is this a new product? It seems like a good solution to cleaning a car during the winter months when the water is shut off to the outside spigots.
Not new so much. I actually found out about it a couple of years ago on a forum. I do not have any touch free or pressure washer washes nearby, so I gave it a shot. Works great and saves a ton of time.
That's it! Start on the roof, wash and dry as you go. It's just that simple! Not to mention, no water spots.
You are correct sir! On the above pictures I washed after driving in the rain for a couple of hours. It was too dirty to just use detail spray, but not dirty enough for a full tilt wash. You do not want to use it on anything that could scratch such as mud, etc. A good rule of thumb is if it looks like it should be rinsed first, do a regular wash.
Ha ha, true! These types of washes always scare me. Even with the car not being all the dirty, dust can still scratch the paint.
I feel the same way about California dusters! I stopped using them last year and it's amazing how much better my car looked last season.
