If your hood needs to be adjusted to lie flush, there are two simple adjustments: 1. If the front edges are not even with the fenders, there are adjusters on each side of the car about a foot back from the front edge that you can turn by hand to adjust them up or down to even out the hood. Just look for the black knobs sticking up behind the cup holders. 2. If the sides of the hood are not flush, adjust the latches. The bottom part of the latch has two bolts. Just loosen them and push down. Then tighten.
Pictures would be great. I understand where the adjustors are, just not following on what the latch adjustment will be adjusting. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
not sure why , but two days this week going to work, my hood was unlatched . I didn't unlock it but had to pull over on breakdown to relock.....Kinda scary as I am usually doing 70 or so at that stretch of highway...Gotta do some investigative work!
not sure if this will help out but it sure does look better than the painted one, I have had no problem with my hood unlatching, but I have hood pins also, http://www.dalescudashop.com/20202020chho.html
The latches adjust the sides of the hood. If you are standing facing the windshield, the "sides" are the vertical edges of the hood (on the right and left).
