I have a 2014 RT without super trak pack. It looks tall. I would like to lower it just a bit, but dont want to make it look lowered. How much lower is the ride height on an SRT8 than my car and what setup get it there? Is it just springs or are the spring perches lower on the struts or both? Anybody done this but kept the stock 8" wide RT wheels, if so post a pic.
I put on the SRT8 Billstein struts and springs, lowered the car just enough to keep it so you can drive it without worrying about scraping bottom. I'll see if I have pics of it with the factory wheels. most are with my after market ones. I can take a pic . of it later next month when I put the factory ones on when it gets parked for the winter if you want.
Ok, show us the pics when you can. Anybody else? I saw a Hellcat to day that looked lower too but I noticed the wheels are either significantly wider or more negative offset. Are the wheels/tires staggered on the Hellcat(diff front and rears?)
Does anyone know what the stock ride height at the fender wells is on a stock R/T ( mine is a 2010 if that matters )? I bought mine used but swear it seems to have been lowered ( could just be me ). That will give me something to compare to.
SRT suspension swap is interesting... because all the aftermarket springs want to drop the cars almost 2" - just a bit too low for my daily drive. 1" though, could definitely deal with that.
