Challenger has been outselling Mustang of late, which means potential Mustang buyers are now driving Challengers. And this happens: Matt Korbon, a 22-year-old University of Virginia student, told the Associated Press several hundred counter-protesters were marching when "suddenly there was just this tire screeching sound." A silver Dodge Challenger smashed into another car, then backed up, barreling through "a sea of people."
Why oh why did he have to drive a Challenger, why not a yugo or a Pinto anything but a Challenger. Now they will protest our cars. Sent from my Moto G Play using Tapatalk
Of course it's sad that the lady had to die, the 5 in critical condition and the others hurt so bad, that was horrible. My heart goes out to them all. I've just seen over the past few years someone gets shot so we outlaw guns, then they outlawed the Confederate flag, there's just a trend. Sent from my Moto G Play using Tapatalk
Most news reports, including USA Today, misidentified the car as a silver Dodge Charger. https://patch.com/michigan/dearborn...-1-killed-as-car-plows-into-protesters-update
No. Not in reality. But I don't know what to take from any of it. The whole thing pisses me off from every possible viewpoint. The attempted revision of history (removal of monuments) makes me sad. People marching in American streets with swastikas make me sad. That someone would use their vehicle (regardless of make) as a weapon against innocent people is sad. We're just too polarized, sensitized and ready to be combatant in this country.
