While cleaning my newly purchased used RT Redline I notice the rim has a decorative plastic cap over the entire rim!!!!! What a let down! One of the biggest reasons I purchase a Redline is because we loved the wheels!!!

you are looking at the chrome clads. all the cars these days have them even the trucks, ford and chevy use them too. I had the chrome clads on mine before I got my classic challenger rims.

Yes it is clads. Really disappointed, kind of gives an element of cheap to Dodge for doing this. Any suggestions on a rim that will flow with the Redline trim package?

There are hundreds of different wheels you can search for hours.
I have the TSW Bristol on mine.

well like I said, all brands do this, Chevy trucks have chrome clads on steel wheels as well as fords.

as far as other wheels goes, it is what ever suits your flavor, I cant stand the new wheel options they have now, if I bought a new car I would have them swap out for my class RT rims .

I loved the Classic wheels that were on my 2011 Challenger R/T Classic. They really captured the classic feel of the car ---- and looked great against the Tungsten Metallic.

My first encounter with the chrome-clad wheels was my wife's 2007 Charger R/T. BUT ... they looked good and held up very well. Same for her 2013 Charger R/T that we just traded for my Challenger SRT.

And, it's not just Chrysler ..... my daughter's 2012 Ford Edge has chrome-clad wheels that still look great at 75,000 miles.
