I want to have a complete exhaust system including headers if I can to my 2013 challenger R/T plus with 5.7 engine & 5 sp. automatic transmission. I also want to add a cold air intake as well. Can I do this WITHOUT a special tune ? I really don't want to do any kind of tune if I can avoid that and I also need to find out if it affects my Chrysler lifetime warranty I bought when I paid for the Challenger.
    thanks,

You can do a complete exhaust without a tune. You can get more out of it with a tune though.

The CAI will not void your warranty. The cat back exhaust will not void your warranty. The headers.....depend on two factors. 1) will you be losing the cats? If so THAT will void your warranty. 2) if you still run your cats, it will depend on how cooperative your service advisor is. The dealer I purchased from told me that I can do anything I want as long as I don't lose the cats or open up the engine. But he also explained that many dealers are not so flexible. Since I m cracking the engine open in the next few weeks, my warranty, which is the lifetime, is going bye bye.

You can cancel the warranty an get some of the money refunded. I did it with my 2010 srt warranty and got half the money returned.

No need for a tune for swapping exhaust systems.
