putting the full engine cover to rest!

    IMG_0321.JPG Just received my half covers for my 5.7! Now I can say it's "powered by SRT"
    What an improvement!!

    Nice, never liked the engine covers. I'm going to install the Edelbrock Victor Jr. Aluminum intake on mine so I don't think the cover would even go on after that.

    I started fitting my half covers today...

    The pass side apparently will have to wait til the catch can is installed because of the PVC hose...

    I notched out the front bottom of the driver's side cover for hose clearance but I am kinda stuck on what to do with the rear of it because of the purge sensor...

    I have searched to no avail for a good way to clear it short of cutting the top of the new cover...
    Which I will not do...

    I saw where one guy simply removed the bracket and laid it there on top of the fuel rail...
    I tried that but it is not enough...

    I am curious how some of you did this...???

    question is, is it a 392 or you still have the 5.7?
