I'm looking for any Ram 1500 fans? What has been your experience?
I owned a 2012 Ram 1500 4x4, I loved it and now I have my eye on a 05 Ram 1500 only 2nd though. Still has the 5.7 Hemi, fairly low on mileage. Doesn't have rust and the interior looks good. Its just under $6000 do you think it's a decent deal?

Bought a new 2015 1500 quad cab hemi. put about 16,000 miles on it and my sales guy found me a 2017 Lonestar edition(bighorn) in the color I wanted Pearl streak blue. 8 speed trans and a hemi. got 13,000 miles on it right now and love it. got a great price on it and great financing. something I can live with.

finding a a good old one that has been treated right is hard to find. not sure what the market value is on the one you are looking at, but if it is still in great shape, i see no reason. if you want to stay in a used truck.....

I'm looking for used, I don't want a truck payment. I don't want to trade my Challenger or my 200. I want to buy outright and be mine. The one I'm looking at is Cherry Red(not actual name of color), I was looking for Red or Blue. Guess I'll go test drive it Saturday.

Awesome color, that's the blue I was looking for. We have our 200 paid off, I enjoy the car more because of that.

I owned a 2012 Big Horn Hemi Quad Cab and my wife owned a 2010 Big Horn 4.7 Liter Quad Cab. Good truck but the 4.7 Liter sucked for gas mileage. 18 on Highway and 14 around town. My biggest complaint was the bed rusting out right at the top of the wheel well even though we had both trucks undercoated. For as much as you pay for a truck now adays you'd think they would paint the underside of the bed with rust protectant before it leaves the factory. Traded both trucks on dodge Challengers.

When I had my 2011 I didn't have any rust problems, but while I've been out looking I've noticed the wheelwell and cab corners. Then on Ford's I've noticed it on cab corners and the front bottoms of their beds and bottom of their tailgates. The one I wanted was sold so I'm still looking.

The Ram I wanted had already been sold when I got to the dealership. So I'm still looking I've even decided to also look for a Dakota, a Ford F-150 or even a Ford Ranger.

Well I stuck with a Dodge product, I didn't get my Blue or Red. I did however get a shiny 2003 Silver Dakota SXT 4x4, with only 95000 miles. Has automatic and decent tires with a sliding glass back window. I got it for a good price and enjoy having a truck again. 20180505_151855.jpeg
