Demon Barely Beats Out a Tesla

    If you needed any more proof that electric cars will be the performance cars of the future, check out these drag races where an 840 hp. Demon barely beats out a Tesla.

    In the race, the Demon initially falls behind because of the instant torque of the Tesla. It plays catch up and doesn't pass the Tesla until it almost runs out of track at 120-130 MPH.

    If this race occurred on the street, without slicks and a prepared track, it wouldn't even be close.

    I think it was more the reaction time and of course the AWD.

    Possibly, but this still doesn't negate the fact that electric cars are super fast and will probably become the next generation of performance cars.
