That is the new Redeye model that is replacing the Demon. The standard Hellcat will have 717 hp.

Here is the official launch video and a few facts:

Scat Pack Widebody- Has 485 hp., old Hellcat hood with heat extractors, and 11 inch wheels with Pirellis.

SRT Hellcat- Has 717 hp. New twin hood scoops provide 18% more air (good for 10 hp.- only left is functional).

SRT Hellcat Redeye- Has 797 hp. and 707 lb./ft. (basically, a slightly recalibrated Demon engine). Has twin hood scoops, new rear spoiler, launch control, line lock, etc. 0-60 mph= 3.8 sec., 1/4 mile= 10.8 sec. @ 130 mph+

Me, too. I am very happy with my 2009 Hemi-orange SRT. Dodge does a great job in making a car, with an 11 year old design, very desirable. Sales are up 70% over 2008.

According to Torque News, who was present at the unveiling, "In addition to the extra power, the 2019 Hellcat Challenger now features Launch Assist with Torque Reserve that allows the engine to build 3.9psi of boost prior to launch, yielding an increase of 55% on initial launch torque. The 2019 Hellcat also comes standard with the After-Run cooling system for improved cooldown efforts between track sessions and when preparing for a quarter mile blast, a standard Line Lock system makes burnouts easier on the rear Brembos."

With a 90 HP increase and the additional launch features it's surprising that the Redeye only picked up 0.1 sec ET over the previous HC's. Oh wait...the 707 HP HC was typically doing 10.9 sec with Drag Radials. I guess I should look back to see if the 10.8 sec for the Redeye is with street tires.
And of course they had to limit the HP to 797 so as not to upset the 808 hp Demon owners.
