Here is a cool photo of the assembled Hellcat engines before they are shipped, by rail, from Saltillo, Mexico to Brampton, Ontario Canada.

I wonder how much total horsepower is in this room? My guess is over 50,000 hp.

yep, engines made in Mexico. when my wife hydrolocked her 3.6L from driving in high water, they had to expedite one from Mexico plant as no one in the states had one in stock.

Yeah, this was a few years ago, she drove into about 10” deep water under a railway under pass. Sucked water into the intake tube all the way around to the throttle body, (3.6L). Hydrolocked it big time, She wasn’t the on.y one too, a fox body mustang was in front of her and he had a 302 hi performance engine, he did the same thing.....

Did they think it was just a foot or so of water and drive right in?

afternoon work traffic in a down pour, wife said it didn't look that deep, so just following every one else. going through real slow it probably would have done any damage, but it was just enough to shoot water all the up the intake tube to the throttle body, good thing insurance covered it, total cost was over $8500 with $1000 deductible.
