Been researching Cold Air Intakes for my V6 and there seems to be just as many cons as pros for having one. I'm seeing a lot of people say it actually could make your car perform worse under daily driving conditions, and is only an asset at high rpms.

How do you know who's right or wrong? I also don't know if I would be better off spending the money on a CAI or a Tuner. I don't want to get any codes for any modifications I make, and I'm not in a big city where getting help would be easier.

    Any thoughts?

Just the SOUND and the physics behind it, makes it worth it.
And never seen any CON’s on any car I have run them on. One being a 3.0 V-6 Stratus R/T and a 3.0 V-6 Stealth

I’m happy with the sound I currently have after changing mufflers and removing the resonators, so it appears that a CAI wouldn’t be worth the expense for me.

Ride in a car with CAI before you decide.
    Maybe an SRT-8? :)

I think the most you can gain is 15HP and better air flow.

I’ve seen people pay a lot more for 15 hp or less

Talked to a couple guys today at a parts store where they sell the K & N CAI. One of them said I would get all kinds of codes without also getting a tuner, and the other guy said if I got the tuner it would void any warranty I still have. It's not looking very appealing to get a CAI at this point.

You need to talk to different people

A tuner will NOT void any warranty, the 1st step it to COPY original tune, so you can alway go back to it.
