My 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic just hit 80,000 miles. I have taken very good care of it and it runs better than ever. Any thoughts on how many miles I should be able to get out of it? I am Semi Retired and no looking to upgrade anytime soon....

I know a friend who has a 2009 RT, he has over 190,000 miles on his and has had no major issues. he has had a few fender benders, but it still in great condition. his mods on the engine are headers/ exhaust.... uses a predator tuner. he has run low 12's in the 1/4 mile consistently. oh yeah, he bought it new too ;)

I my self have a 2009 RT and have just over 97,000 miles on mine.

My 2010 Challenger R/T Classic just turned 71K and I had to replace the alternator, no big deal. My daily is a 2006 Magnum R/T with 142K on the clock and it runs great! Simple maintenance keeps these Hemis going. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I had a Mopar rep tell me those engines were built to last 300,000 miles if taken care of correctly.

    Yea, but
like Diesel’s you still have to replace everything else,
brake, trans, radiator, rearend, wheel bearings, sheet metal .......

But they got damn spark plugs to last 100k miles or more

How do I know what spark plugs are standard, or do I need to pull one to find out? I assume they put in Iridium ones, right?

My wife’s ‘06 5.7 Jeep stock, copper champion plugs lasted 145k before I changed them.
Only through 2 codes for misfire.
The idiot parts guys was pushing these $8-$10 each plugs, and I said WHY if these stock $1.45 plugs lasted 145k miles.
Shit dual plug heads, 16 plugs at $10 each, $160
